As always, Nicolas Cloiseau of La Maison du Chocolat wants to dazzle, surprise and seduce us with his creations specially concocted for the holiday season 2023.
This time, the Chef Chocolatier and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, once again invites us to experience a beautiful gourmet journey thanks to a strong symbol that characterizes the Christmas season: Snow.
In the gourmet world of Christmas in the Snow, the Maison du Chocolat presents its festive creations from November 7, 2023. These delights are a celebration of the joint work of Nicolas Cloiseau and designer-jeweler Capucine Huguet, highlighting the elegance of Arctic flakes. Set in the heart of Paris, the event invites visitors on a sensory voyage that will last right through to Christmas Eve.
The experience begins with the Bûche Noël Enneigé, a work of art where the aesthetics of snow and the warmth of flavors meet. We invite you to discover this log, available in a limited edition for 120€. You can already plan to pick it up in store from December 21 to 24. Pre-booking is possible from December 1st, a promise of an early celebration.
The light yet powerful chocolate mousse evokes the ephemeral finesse of a snowflake. Tender pear blends perfectly with creamy caramel, and we fall for the praline sprinkled with roasted corn kernels and the unique crunch of salted fried corn. The intensity of the corn harmoniously enhances the pear, chocolate and caramel for a lovely marriage of tastes and textures, all at once fresh and comforting.
The composition includes a 72% dark chocolate mousse of pure organicHaitian origin, a cocoa cookie, diced poached Conference pears, a delicate crunchy chocolate leaf, a creamy caramel with roasted corn chips, a crunchy base of salted fried corn, and a plain Genoa bread cookie. The whole is sublimated by a decor of 56% dark chocolate flakes and 33% ivory chocolate.
For collectors and art lovers, the centerpiece is undoubtedly the Snowflake. Priced at €2,800, this 7.9kg chocolate sculpture is a very limited edition that showcases the House's exceptional craftsmanship. Also available from November 7, it is the symbol of luxury and exclusivity.
The little pleasure not to be missed is the Bouchée Flocon de neige, priced at 30€. A perfect balance of praline, fleur de sel and chocolate flakes, this bouchée is the frosted touch that completes the gustatory picture.
The Christmas portfolio is enriched by dazzling boxes bearing the visual signature of #StephaneKiehl. Inside, you'll find assortments that captivate the eye as much as the palate, with prices ranging from €34 to €140.
Finally, to count down the days to the festivities, the Flocon de Neige Advent Calendar offers one chocolate treat a day, priced at 58€.
