On Easter Sunday (April 9, 2023), after the traditional egg hunt, the Easter theme continues with a baking workshop for the whole family, starting at 3pm at the HOBA foodcourt.
On the menu for this workshop? Pastry chef Céline Courquin invites you to learn how to make your own Easter nest cake, featuring a sponge cake with patterns filled with chocolate mousse, or to decorate a bunny cup cake by making your own decorations. You can't celebrate Easter without making your own chocolates: this year, not only are we hunting for praline eggs, but we're also learning how to make our own chocolates with chocolate/vanilla ganache with Mum or Dad (or any other accompanying adult)!
This duo workshop costs around €50 (for the duo): it's an opportunity to discover the basics of pastry-making with your little one from the age of 4, and to learn how to make cakes worthy of a chef, which you can then remake as often as you like at home. Of course, budding pastry chefs will go home with their own chocolate creations.
If you want to spend Easter outdoors with the kids, Parc Martin Luther King is the perfect place to stroll, run and exercise... And don't forget that you can also grab a bite to eat at HOBA, which offers a variety of cuisines for your lunch break: ramen at Just Ramen, English muffins at Mouflet or generous falafel sandwiches at Falaf.
