The Peninsula Paris is celebrating Easter 2025 in style. The program includes a host of gourmet delights, including a sublime, ultra-gourmet creation, as well as an Easter tea time that will be extended this year.
This year's Easter egg guide features the "Trésor d'Ébène" creation, an original trompe-l'œil delicacy based aroundblack garlic, available for pre-order from March 29, at least 72 hours in advance.
At Péninsula, Easter is a sensory surprise. This year, Chef Anne Coruble has taken inspiration from the elegant and mysterious black garlic to create a chocolate egg as daring as it is refined. Combining 40% milk chocolate from Madagascar with toasted notes of Piedmont hazelnut, she invites you to a true tasting experience.
This Easter creation consists of a crunchy shell with a sculptural design, which can be opened like a Russian doll without breaking. Inside, eight cloves of black garlic in appearance, but in reality a candied black garlic ganache mixed with hazelnut praline.
Rather subtle at first, the black garlic with its sweet notes lingers on the palate, oscillating between caramelized sweetness and chocolatey richness. All for €95, on pre-order 72 hours in advance, with collection on site from April 12 to 22, between 9am and 9pm.
Here, Chef Coruble continues her exploration of the unexpected combinations that are her signature. After daring to combine chanterelle and fir bud, dark chocolate and Taggiasche olive, or citrus and seaweed, she infuses her creations with a spirit of curiosity and elegance, paying homage to the bounty of nature and the terroirs of France. Each of her desserts tells a story, and this one is no exception: a nod to the slow fermentation of black garlic, a metaphor for the maturation of flavor and gesture.

And if you want to extend your stroll around the neighborhood, why not take a detour to the nearby Musée Guimet, or enjoy a tea break on one of the terraces on Avenue Kléber? A gourmet and refined way to celebrate Easter in Paris.
Count €92 for the pretty creation. Pre-orders are required 72 hours in advance from March 29 to April 20, 2025. It can then be collected from March 12 to April 22 between 9am and 9pm at Péninsula Paris.
