The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) is one of September's not-to-be-missed events! Every year, this cultural event invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of our most beautiful treasures over an exceptional weekend. Museums, monuments, churches, castles, and even places usually closed to the public , such as ministries, embassies and major institutions, all lend themselves to the game and unveil their programs, often free of charge, of free or guided tours, original events and workshops for young and old alike.
This year, the event returns for its 41st edition on the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024. For the occasion, a vast program awaits you in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region! And while the City of Light is often the center of attention, the surrounding region has nothing to be ashamed of.
This weekend is the perfect time to explore the region's heritage! In fact, the Val-de-Marne has plenty to surprise you. The town of Arcueil is just one of the places to visit during the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days). Check out the program below!
