Let’s be honest, Thursday December 5, 2019 is feared by many people in Île de France. That day, major strikes are planned especially in public transportations. Several syndical organizations at the RATP and the SNCF are already calling for a general and national strike in order to contest the reform of pensions.
This upcoming December 5, the traffic of metros, as well as RERs, transilien trains and even TGVs will be highly disrupted.
To help you get around that day, Île de France region president Valérie Pécresse has announced to set up measures including free carpooling.
Carpooling will be free this December 5. Are involved the following platforms: BlaBlaLines, Covoit'ici, Karos, Klaxit (RATP) and OuiHop' (SNCF) according to the JDD newspaper.
