The City of Paris seems to have launched a movement. On April 7, Paris Prefect – in compliance with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo – announced to ban of outdoor exercise from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Goal? “Reuglating the access of the public space” by authorizing exercise only from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. “when the influx in streets is at its lowest point”.
Following this announcement, other Île-de-France departments have decided to adopt the same strategy while the country is moving to the fourth week of confinement.
So, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, Hauts-de-Seine, Val-de-Marne and Val-d’Oise ban trips out if related to private workout during the day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For four of these departments, this new measure will be implemented at least until April 15th. Yet, for Val-d’Oise prefect, this ban will be set up “until further notice”.
Note these bans only involve working out. Are not involved in these decrees, outings on your own or with family for one hour maximum, nor walking your dog.
Since April 15, most of those decrees, banning working out outside from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. havent' been renewed, according to the books of administrative acts released on prefectures' websites. Consequences? It's now allowed again to run and work out during the day in most Ile-de-France like in Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, Hautd-de-Seine and Val d'Oise. Yet, this ban is still in force in several cities in Val-de-Marne and until May 10 as of midnight in "Saint-Mandé, Vincennes, Fontenay-sous-Bois, Nogent-sur-Marne, Joinville-le-Pont, Saint-Maurice and Charenton-le-Pont".

Tweet reads: "Starting from April 15th, trips related to personal workout during the day are allowed in Val de Marne, excluding in Saint-Mandé, Vincennes, Fontenay, Nogent, Joinville, Saint-Maurice and Charenton"
Same call in Paris where the decree remains in force. Interviewed by Franceinfo, Anne Hildago's deputy mayor Emmanuel Grégoire said this measure "was subject to talks with the Police prefect and the Secretary of the Interior" and "will be subject to a study within a week, to see if it will be adapted, and made harder, lighter or keeping it as it is".
For the record, Seine-Saint-Denis and Essonne departments didn't implement the ban of sport activities betwene 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
