In the United-States, the country remains under pressure since George Floyd has died this May 25th when arrested. Yesterday, his family, along with politic leaders and American celebrities gathered in Minneapolis to pay him tribute.
In France, supports are countless. Moreover, “two statistic gathering projects in front of the United-States Embassy” in Paris have been reported for Saturday June 6th. But the Police prefecture has ordered a decree banning these two gatherings.

Tweet reads: “In accordance with the Decree of 31 May 2020 on the health emergency, the prefect of police has decided to ban 2 gatherings organized on Saturday June 6th. Check the press release to know more”.
“These gatherings, likely to rally many people, are not allowed by the decree of 31 May 2020 on the health emergency banning any gathering in the public space, over ten people” the release released this June 5th reads.
“In addition to disruptions of public safety these gatherings can cause, like incidents and violence committed like on this past June 2nd, health risks it could cause remain major” the prefecture adds.
This decree has been ordered three days after the ban of the gathering supporting Adama Traoré. This past June 2nd, in front of Paris law court, at least 20,000 people gathered and walked against police violence. They came to claim justice for Adama, who died on July 19, 2016 two hours after his arrest in Beaumont-sur-Oise, after a chase with police officers.
The Tuileries garden also stated that it will be exceptionally closed on Saturday.
