Snow has been invading Paris and the Ile-de-France region since this Thursday, November 21, 2024, bringing with it... the traditional kilometers of traffic jams to which Parisian and Ile-de-France motorists are unfortunately already accustomed on a daily basis.
Indeed, due to the heavy weather and snowfalls that led to many départements being placed under a vigilance orange for snow and ice, traffic was severely slowed throughout the day in much of the Paris region.
As reported by the Sytadin website, over 150 km of traffic jams are currently being recorded in the Ile-de-France region, this Friday, November 22, 2024, paralyzing many of the region's main roads. You can find all these disruptions in real time, directly on the Sytadin website published by the Direction des routes Île-de-France (DiRIF).
As usual, and despite the difficult traffic conditions, caution remains the order of the day on Paris and Ile-de-France roads this November 22nd. Respect safety distances and speed limits, and keep abreast of developments by listening to the radio and following the instructions on the illuminated signs on the freeway.
Have a good trip!
