Travel restrictions are to be softened in the coming days in France. This Friday June 4, 2021, invited on Cnews, French Minister for ecological transition and transports Jean-Baptiste Djebbari announced vaccinated Europeans can enter France without needing a PCR test starting from June 9.
BMFTV adds that only 4 vaccines are approved in Europe, namely Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Janssen, and will be available for upcoming EU travelers.
Furthermore, State Secretary for Tourism, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, said this Friday on BFMTV-RMC that vaccinated citizens from a green area set outside the European Union (such as Australia, Israel, or South Korea) will be allowed to come to France without having to show a PCR test.
As of today, 254,98 million doses have been given to 39% of the Europeans.
