Tweet reads: “[RELEASE] Urban elected representatives are willing to experimentally and progressively reopen cultural places. We are ready to gather together and find, with the State, the necessary adaptations”.
“These reopening can be part of a first experimental step depending on the cultural facilities and local health factors” the organization says in a release. “The past few months have shown the action and innovation skills of main cities, conurbations and metropolises in the managing of the health crisis. With regard to the reopening of cultural places, local groups are ready to work together to find, in cooperation with the state, the necessary adaptations”.
One week before, Jean Castex said minister for culture Roselyne Bachelot was working on a project to reopen museums earlier. She confirmed they will be the first cultural places to reopen and also said that some festivals will take place by the summer 2021. The city of Lyon is also trying another approach: partial reopening of restaurants under certain conditions. Construction industry workers can go there for lunch.
