Even if it's more convenient to vote early in the day, to avoid the crowds, especially in big cities, you have until 6 p.m. to take part in this major ballot. In mainland France, it will be possible to vote as early as 8 a.m. for the most determined.
However, not all polling stations close at 6 p.m., and by decision of the prefecture, in some major cities they remain open until 8 p.m., the latest deadline, due to the large number of voters! So if you're a late voter, it's best to live in Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Toulouse, Lyon, Nantes or Nice.
But be careful: the later you go, the greater the risk that you won't be able to get your ballot in on time, which could be decisive!
