This Saturday, September 30, 2023,Île Saint-Louis will host an exceptional artistic event that promises to combine fashion, dance, music and history in the heart of the Parisian islet. This stroll-performance, orchestrated by the Association des Commerçants de l'Île Saint-Louis "Au fil de l'eau" and the Association "La Islita", will take place from 6pm to 7:30pm, from the Saint-Louis church to the Place Louis Aragon.
This elegant and convivial stroll pays homage to Marguerite de Provence, Queen of France and little-known wife of Saint-Louis, highlighting her committed, determined and active personality, echoing that of contemporary women.
Marguerite will be embodied by ten muses, dressed in sumptuous gowns by fashion designer Jérôme Blin. They will parade gracefully, surrounded by dancers, singers and musicians who will enchant the streets of the Île Saint-Louis. A magical moment accompanied by captivating tales of Marguerite's life.
