The Pavillon du Grand Express is a bit like a machine created to move forward in time: as you enter, you'll discover an immersive installation that plunges you right into the heart of the Grand Paris Express project, its new metro, its new stations... It's an opportunity to discover the Grand Paris Express as you've never seen it before, as you step right into the heart of the transport flows of the biggest hubs in and around Paris, in a cube designed by Dominique Perrault (also architect of the BnF François Mitterrand).
"With this pavilion, we've squeezed the entire Grand Paris Express project into a cube," explains Jean-François Montels, Chairman of the Board of Société du Grand Paris. On site, visitors will be able to discover some of the historic maps of the Grand Paris and Ile-de-France rail network, all the new station districts and, above all, plunge into a 360-degree virtual experience through the evolution of the Paris metro, from the first lines in the 20th century to the present day.
To discover this immersive and unusual installation on level -1 of the Canopée, in the Westfield Forum des Halles shopping center, the Société du Grand Paris invites you, your family, friends or solo visitors to enjoy this unique experience: but be warned, you only have a few weeks, from October 13 to November 6, 2023, to visit it! If you're interested in the Grand Paris Express project, we also recommend taking part in the guided tours of the Fabrique du Métro in Saint-Ouen, which are very comprehensive and particularly instructive!
