On Wednesday June 21, we're off to the Place de la Bastille! For the Fête de la Musique, events, concerts and musical moments are scheduled throughout the capital. On Place de la Bastille, an IBNJ concert will take place from afternoon till midnight!

The Fête de la Musique returns for its 41st edition in 2023! On Wednesday June 21, it's a chance to experience exceptional musical moments, in sometimes unusual locations. This year, the Place de la Bastille will be transformed into a dance floor, a concert hall and even an open-air theater stage!

Since 1982, the Fête de la Musique has been an annual musical event. Whether classical, pop, electro or jazz, it's a time to celebrate a melodious cultural diversity! For the record, this celebration dates back to an original idea by American composer Joel Cohen, who proposed in 1976 to create a "Fête de la Musique" on the summer and winter solstices. The idea was then taken up by Maurice Fleuret, Director of Music and Dance at the French Ministry of Culture, who convinced the relevant Minister to implement it!

Every year, the City of Light pulls out all the stops: concerts take place in parks, museums, churches... and even in the street! This year, the Place de la Bastille will be the venue for a concert by IBNJ. Dance, music and theatrical performances are scheduled throughout the afternoon.

So head on over to the Place de la Bastille for a colorful Fête de la Musique!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A powerful combination of harmony and power, Total Praise Mass Choir is the largest gospel group in France, with up to 200 singers and musicians.

Founded in 2001 by David & Jocelyne Goma, standard-bearers of the Paris Gospel Festival, the Total Praise Mass Choir has built its reputation with some of America's greatest Grammy Award-winning gospel artists: Kirk Franklin, Richard Smallwood, Shirley Caesar, Donnie McClurkin, CeCe Winans, Kim Burrell, Israel Houghton, Marvin Sapp, Yolanda Adams, Karen Clark-Sheard and the Clark Sisters...

At every opportunity, Total Praise Mass Choir performs its remarkable repertoire, offering audiences an unforgettable musical experience.

Accustomed to the biggest concert halls in Paris (L'Olympia, Zénith de Paris, Accor Arena Bercy,...), Total Praise Mass Choir had already taken over the Place de la Bastille last year for the Fête de la musique. Given its success, the choir is repeating the experience in 2024.
