If you don't have tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, don't despair: new tickets are going on sale soon on the event's ticketing service. On April 17, 2024, at 10 a.m., 250,000 tickets went on sale online. Please note, however, that this time there will be no draw: tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so you'll have to be quicker than the others!
And the competition is likely to be stiff: according to information gathered by AFP at the official Paris 2024 conference, and shared by our France 3 confrères, tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies should be available at this ticket office, as well as 9,000 tickets forequestrian events, " 15,000 for swimming, 10,000 for artistic gymnastics, 35,000 for beach volleyball, 12,000 for tennis and table tennis, 2,000 for judo and cycling as well as tickets forathletics at the Stade de France (the number has not been specified). " These are very popular sports, which have been sold out until now.
So you'll have to be in the starting-blocks to buy one of these tickets. As far as prices are concerned, tickets should be available in all categories, about half of them for less than 100 euros, promised Tony Estanguet at the press conference.
The President of Paris 2024 also indicated that a platform for downloading and reselling Olympic tickets would go online in mid-May.
In the meantime, team sports in the provinces are available every day on the official website, as are tickets for the Paralympic Games!
