The big news in the capital this summer is, of course, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. For the first time in a century, the City of Light is hosting this major sporting event. The finest treasures of Parisian heritage are set to be showcased through the various competitions held at iconic venues including the Grand Palais, Place de la Concorde and theesplanade des Invalides. Alongside the events, Parisians and visitors alike can look forward to an exciting program that will get the heart of the capital beating to the rhythm of the Olympic Games.

However, the capital must also adapt to host the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The influx of visitors, ephemeral infrastructures and safety standards are imposing adjustments and restrictions on the City of Light.
