On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, whose opening ceremony takes place along the Seine on Friday, July 26, many fan zones are opening their doors in the four corners - and in each of the departments - of the Île-de-France region. In the Seine-et-Marne département, a fan zone is also planned, not far from theregion's only Olympic venue: the Vaires-sur-Marne nautical stadium.
Not far from where therowing and canoeing events will take place, a large fan zone will open its doors to all supporters and spectators of the Paris 2024 Games, from July 26 to August 11. At the Pierre Duport stadium in Chelles, the events will be broadcast live on a giant screen, with free sporting events to discover the Olympic and Paralympic disciplines also on the program.
Inflatable structures will be on hand for children, with a catering service including a refreshment bar and numerous foodtrucks. Please note: the official Games mascot will be visiting Club 2024 in Chelles on Sunday July 28, between 5pm and 7pm.
Since they'll be the stars of this fortnight of the Paris 2024 Games, the fan zone is also intended to be the place to meet with top athletes - and perhaps, a few medal winners - expected at this summer's events to come and chat and take photos with fans.
