Starting on July 19, 2024 (the date of the Olympic torch's passage), the City of Argenteuil's Club 2024 invites all the curious to come and celebrate, from near and far, sport and, more specifically, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. So, until August 11, meet up in the Parc des Berges to follow your favorite champions and enjoy free entertainment!
What's on the program? Numerous activities await visitors, from toddlers to senior citizens, with something to suit every age group. In addition to live broadcasts of the Olympic events, so you can follow the French team as closely as possible, there are also fun activities on offer: flying disc, skim boar, and introductions to no fewer than 26 Olympic and Paralympic disciplines. Top-level athletes are also expected to take part and demonstrate their disciplines.
Baskeball, mountain biking, climbing, beach volleyball, rugby, soccer, handball, trampoline, table tennis, mini-golf... There's also a range of introductory courses to get you up to speed with the athletes! The full program - including detailed daily schedules - is available on the town's website.
Then, the Club continues with the Paralympic Club, scheduled for September 7 and 8, 2024 at the city's Alain-Mimoun stadium. Are we going?
