After the Olympic Games , which enchanted the capital for two weeks, the Games are back and this time they'll be Paralympic, showcasing the handisport of numerous athletes with exceptional backgrounds. This is your chance to discover the Paralympic version of numerous disciplines, on television or on site, as well as at events throughout the region, such as at the Rosny 2 shopping center in Seine-Saint-Denis, on September 7 and 8, 2024!
This historic shopping center in the heart of Rosny-sous-Bois is one of the largest in the Ile-de-France region. Inaugurated in 1973, it belongs to the Westfield group and is easily accessible from the capital thanks to the RER E and the recently extended metro line 11! An official supporter of the Olympic Games, the center has joined forces with the Comité Départemental de Badminton de Seine-Saint-Denis and the Comité Départemental Olympique et Sportif de Seine-Saint-Denis (CDOS93) to raise awareness of parasport.
From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., young and old alike are invited to enjoy a weekend of four badminton playgrounds, one para-badminton area, onewheelchair fencing area and one boccia area, accessible to all free of charge! It's a great opportunity to try out these sometimes unprecedented sports, to get under the skin of the athletes and better understand the Paralympic sports!
