Oscars 2024: Discover the complete list of winners at the 96th ceremony

It's all over! The 96th Academy Awards ceremony took place last night in Los Angeles, and there were plenty of surprises in store for viewers who managed to brave the late hour of the French broadcast to watch the awards ceremony live. Christopher Nolan'sOppenheimer was the clear favorite to win in 13 categories, just ahead of Yórgos Lánthimos' Poor Creatures (with 11 nominations) and Martin Scorsese'sKillers of the Flower Moon (with 10 nominations).

Greta Gerwig's Barbie was nominated in 8 categories, despite having fought a bitter war at the box office last summer against the biopic of the father of the atomic bomb. Of course, the whole of France was behind Justine Triet's Anatomie d'une Chute, nominated in no less than 5 of the most prestigious categories - Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress for Sandra Hüller, Best Editing and Best Original Screenplay.

And it was in the latter category that Justine Triet's feature film won its only Oscar of the evening. Moments after receiving it to the rhythm of 50 Cent's "PIMP" (of course!), the director told Canal+: "It means a lot. The film was made under very independent conditions, and it's great to be working alongside such huge productions. You can also exist by making totally different films. It's very nice to see that at the Oscars, films like this can be given importance."

The big winner of the 2024 Oscars, Oppenheimer finally took home 7 statuettes, including one awarded to Robert Downey Jr. (the first of his career!), but also and above all the most major statuettes of the evening: Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor for Cillian Murphy.

Poor Creatures took home 4 trophies, while the film Barbie walked away with just one Oscar, for Best Original Song performed by Billie Eilish, who thus wins her second Oscar in two nominations. But who were the other big winners ? Discover the full list of Oscar 2024 winners without further ado !
