From August 2 to August 30, 2023, France 5 is offering an unprecedented immersion into the exploration of the world's greatest rivers in the documentary series"Au bout c'est la mer", including the Seine.
August 2, 2023 marks the start of a fascinating adventure offered by France 5. The voyage of exploration "Au bout c'est la mer" (At the end of the river is the sea), embodied by the passionate François Pécheux, aims to introduce viewers to the world's rivers, their cultures and their stories. Among these destinations, particular attention is paid to the Seine.
This sixth season, available every Wednesday in August at 8:50 pm, promises fascinating discoveries. François Pécheux, the adventurer, takes us on the waves of the Kapuas in Indonesia, the Ouémé in Benin, the Thames in England, and of course our beloved Seine.

On Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 21.00, the Seine takes center stage. François takes us on a journey of over 770 kilometers, from the source in the Côte d'Or to the mouth at Honfleur. Flying over the great lakes of the Aube, crossing Paris and meeting local personalities, he reveals the secrets of this river.
