The Opéra Garnier is home to a most curious experience, akin to an escape game, imagined by Team Break, the leader in escape games. Entitled Inside Opéra, this immersive game invites visitors to follow in the footsteps of the Phantom of the Opera. Last dates on January 12, 2020!

An unusual way to dive or dive back into Gaston Leroux's novel... That's what theOpéra Garnier is offering with Inside Opéra, a collaborative, immersive experience somewhere between anescape game and a life-size investigation, starting June 9, 2018. Imagined by Team Break, one of the leaders in escape games, by RERE and Productions Adonis, this experience invites players to venture in the footsteps of the Phantom of the Opera, a famous character from French literature. An immersive game from Inside, following on from the success ofInside PSG, which took place at the Parc des Princes, and a successful adventure that ends once again for good on January 12, 2020.

The story is quite gripping: on the eve of the grand premiere of Mozart's The Magic Flute, during rehearsals, the director panics and strange events occur: costumes disappear, murmurs in the corridors... Everything leads us to believe that the Phantom, who has taken up residence in dressing room N°5, has something to do with it. Visitors will have to try to solve the Phantom's curse and free him by solving a series of riddles in the theatre itself, with actors in period costume enlivening the experience for a totally immersive experience.

It's a highly original tour, which the editorial team has tested and recommends: beyond some rather complex riddles, which required the help of actors, the immersion is total, and solving them proves to be fun. We particularly appreciate the finale, which features a mini-concert based on Mozart's The Magic Flute. We also appreciate the performance of the actors, who are almost possessed by their roles.

Alone or as part of a team, players can stroll through theOpéra Garnier and explore the monument's various emblematic spaces: The Grand Staircase, the Avant Foyer, the Salon du Glacier, the Galerie du Glacier and even the Phantom's dressing room. Another way to visit one of the most beautiful buildings in Paris. Shall we make a reservation, folks?

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
