PS5: price and release date unveiled

Good news for gamers! Sony has just announced the price for the latest PS5 as well as its release date on their latest conference held on Wednesday September 16, 2020. Keep reading to know more!

The mirage is no more… After Microsoft and Xbox Series X  that fired the campaign, it is now Sony’s turn to give more details on the latest game console, PS5. On a conference held on Wednesday September 16, the Japanese maker has unveiled the price of the console, along with a release date!

Speaking of the price, the PlayStation 5 will cost €499,99 and its fully digital version €399,99. Two consoles which only difference if the Blu-Ray player since according to our peers from jeuxvidéo.com, both versions “will exactly offer the same components, unlike Xbox Series S, that will be less powerful than Xbox Series X”.

As for the release date, you will have to wait for quite a while as Sony’s console is said to be out on November 19, 2020 in Europe, a few weeks before Christmas. The perfect release date for all those that would like to have it under the tree! As for games, many softs have been announced such as Watch Dogs: LegionFIFA 21Assassin's Creed: ValhallaCall of Duty Black OpsMarvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and even Godfall, one of the very first games announced on the Japanese maker’s console.
