Fortnite x Futurama: Epic Games unveils an unexpected crossover for the battle royale

It's official: Fortnite is in the future! Or rather, Futurama is in Fortnite... The most famous battle royale of its generation welcomes new fighters to its arena. Fry, Leela and Bender are joiningEpic Games on July 26, 2023. An unexpected collaboration between the two universes that have, each in their own way, left their mark on pop culture.

Of course, Fortnite, the multiplatform third-person shooter video game where the objective is to survive the numerous opponents invading the island, needs no further introduction. Younger viewers may be less familiar with Futurama. This American animated series ran from 1999 to 2003, and again from 2007 to 2013, for a total of seven seasons and around 140 episodes. Now, the beloved series is making a long-awaited return to our screens with an unedited eighth season, broadcast from July 2023.

To celebrate this rebirth, the heroes of Futurama are joining the Fortnite fray. Update 25. 20 unveils three new outfits (or skins) in the Item Shop, a pistolaser that once belonged to Bender, and an unlimited supply of plasma.
