Our preview of Monster Hunter Wilds:
During our visit to Paris Games Week, we tested Capcom's game. And it was a pleasant surprise! Graphically speaking, it's quite interesting, and very dynamic. A true next-gen game, with a more advanced and richer level design, offering a lively game outside the playable character, and above all with no loading times between different parts of the map.
Gameplay is complete and easy to handle, with tactical battles against monsters. As in other games in the franchise, you'll have to cunningly hit enemies' weak points to bring them down. You'll also need to learn how to handle each weapon, each of which has its own unique gameplay.
Special mention must be made of the cinematic sequences, which are truly beautiful. The story is equally dynamic and cinematic... You just can't get enough of it. In short, a promising program that seems to be reinventing the genre... But we'll have to wait for its release to find out for sure!
