Adelphe Game Fest 2024: the event dedicated to inclusivity and women's rights in gaming

Adelphe Game Fest is shaping up to be THE must-attend event for video game enthusiasts and fervent defenders of women's rights and diversity! Scheduled for March 9 and 10, this unique event awaits you at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie, on the occasion of International Women's Rights Day. Initiated by Women in Games France and allied associations such asAfrogameuses, Project AWR, Witch Gamez, Stream'Her and Game'Her, theAdelphe Game Fest aims to promoteinclusivity and diversity within the video game industry, while highlighting the issues specific to each participating organization.

The event revolves around various activities and presentations, providing a platform for dialogue and awareness-raising around the challenges faced by women in the video game industry. On March 9, from 3 to 4 p.m., don't miss the conference Les Femmes qui façées l'industrie du jeu vidéo, presented by Women in Games France in collaboration with studio From the Void. This free conference, followed by a convivial afternoon snack from 4 to 6:30 p.m., invites participants to exchange ideas in a warm atmosphere, highlighting the importance ofadelphity - a term that celebrates fraternity and sisterhood across genders.

The festivities continue with a sponsored tea party on March 9 from 4pm to 7pm, offering a unique opportunity to meet members of the Women in Games France Board of Directors and discuss future prospects for women in video games. Also on March 28, Women in Games invites you to We Are Brewers, an LGBTQIA+ friendly bar, for a unique evening where you can attend a presentation by the association and a gameplay screening of a game supported by it, in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
