Love is in the air in the world of The Sims! A new expansion pack was unveiled on June 27, 2024, and it's set to completely revolutionize your characters' love stories. Check out the trailer for The Sims 4: Crazy Love, which is available from July 25, 2024, on PC, Mac, PS4, PS5 and Xbox.

In The Sims 4 Crazy Love expansion pack, you'll be able to create your Sim's profile on the Cupid's Corner dating app, and mate with other Sims! It's hot, hot, hot in this trailer! Seduction games, lascivious dancing, dating apps, new places to make out: your Sims are going to turn into real Casanovas this summer.
So here we are, in Ciudad Enamorada, a Latin-inspired, South American city. This new world includes an active district, with walking areas and greenery, a residential suburb where we should be able to build houses, and a chic district with apartment blocks.
In Ciudad Enamorada, everything is made for lovers, or those who want to be. Bars, gyms, parks, nightclubs: every place is ideal for a great encounter.
As you can see from the trailer, this new pack has raised the temperature several notches. Love is on everyone's mind... And not only there. Your Sims enjoy a new kissing animation , new places to make out, and a sensual dance... And in costume. Several romantic actions also let you seduce and play with your partner: cuddling, sharing food, conversation on a picnic tablecloth...
Big news in The Sims 4 Crazy Love pack: the arrival of theCupid's Corner dating app. Take your best profile photos to attract love, and choose your next conquest right from your phone.
And what about decoration? Our eagle eyes caught a glimpse of some daring objects and furniture... The heart-shaped bed makes a welcome return to The Sims. You can also decorate your love nests with a beast rug, fawn or floral tapestries, mouth and heart-shaped sofas and seats, neon lights...
A new pack means a new death! Be careful who you give your heart to, because they just might break it. The Grim Reaper will come for you if you die of a broken heart. There's also a new profession: become a love consultant and guide your customers to happiness.
The recently updated attraction system has been made even more complex: each Sim will have his or her own preferences and love-killers. Love satisfaction should also play an important role in the quality of your relationships.
This pack comes with a free update, allowing you to better define your Sims' love life: "the new love boundaries system lets you customize your Sim's experience of boundaries and jealousy. You can now define how your Sims approach romantic relationships in terms of physical and emotional exclusivity. This allows your Sims to date multiple Sims without impacting their other relationships. "
We were able to attend an official, detailed presentation of this new pack. The Sims team has prepared a caliente summer for us , in a Mexican-inspired city.
We discover Ciudad Enamorada, and its three neighborhoods: Vista Hermosa, the central district, with a park and walking paths, and adorned with a special fountain; Plaza Mariposa, a colorful residential suburb, which should attract many singles; and finally Nuevo Corazón, a more urban district, with apartment buildings, a nightclub and a gym. The various neighborhoods are decorated with large murals, and butterflies are hidden everywhere: it's up to you to find them!
This pack focuses on the Sims' romantic relationships. Two major new features shake up the game: a new attraction system exclusive to the pack, and an overhaul of dating. Rendezvous become more personal and high-stakes. You can choose several activities to do with your crush (stargazing, eating, dancing, talking, playing video games...): these activities will help you establish whether you have anything in common with your crush. You can also change venues in the middle of an event, and extend the date if you're having a good time.
The new attraction system complements the preference system introduced a few years ago. Until now, your Sims could prefer certain colors or styles of music, personality traits in others, activities to do... The Attraction system in the Crazy Love pack lets you give your Sims attraction criteria.
Hair color, clothing style, qualities and flaws, lifestyle, way of expressing love: your Sims should no longer be able to fall in love with just anyone, just as they won't be as irresistible to everyone! Building a love relationship should require more effort and time, especially if the two lovers are incompatible.
Nothing is impossible, however: you can totally start a relationship or get married to a Sims who doesn't meet all your attraction criteria. The relationship will only require more work... From now on, two different bars will appear in your relationship with others: the satisfaction bar (is your Sims comfortable in their relationship? Are their emotional needs being met?) and the attraction bar (these red flags may be harder to ignore...). Not everything is rosy in our Sims' love lives, and this pack should bring more challenge and realism to relationships.
And it's no longer a one-way street! NPCs (characters you don't control) will now be able to take more initiative, and propose marriages and partnerships on their own...
But before you can think about marriage, you need to find a partner. To do this, head for your phone's new app, Cupid's Corner. Take your best selfies (watch out for the gnome photobomb), talk about your character traits and select your search criteria, and try to find the perfect match on this network. Sims shown on the application can be from your worlds or from the gallery.
This pack comes with a great free update that should please those who spend hours in the CAS. Long-awaited, finally here: two eyelash designs arrive to give your Sims doe eyes. Two other designs are included in the Crazy Love pack.
Also very much in demand from players, this option is sure to please: you can now tick a small box to apply your choice of accessory or make-up to all your looks. Gone is the hassle of having to reapply piercings and glasses to every outfit.
Finally, since CAS, new relationship options are possible. Members of the same household can be married, parents/children... And now engaged or in a relationship! In the tab used to specify your Sims' love orientation, you can also determine your character's level of jealousy, and whether or not he or she wants to be in a relationship with several people at the same time.
The Sims 4 Amour fou should bring many new features to the game, and impose significant changes on your Sims' relationships, just as the Growing Up Together and Parenting packs did.
