Attention all gamers eagerly awaiting the release of Concord! In a blog post dated June 27, 2024, PlayStation announced the opening of several Betas for its software, developed by Firewalk. An early access Beta awaits those who have already pre-ordered the game, starting July 12. Available on PS5 and PC, this test phase will be followed by an Open Beta from July 18 to 21, offering all players a unique opportunity to dive into this multiplayer universe before its official launch on August 23. During these Beta weekends, players will be able to try out the 16 Freegunners available, each with their own unique skills, fighting style and distinct personality. Whether attacking, defending or supporting the team, there's something for everyone. On the map side, Libronde, Aquatic Hazards, Stellar Chamber and Electric Hazards all offer you the chance to escape beyond the galaxy, with their evocative names. And to spice up the experience, a fifth map, Bone Mines on Akkar, will be available during the Open Beta.
In terms of game modes, participants will be able to choose between Trophy Hunt, Salvage and Occupy, with the addition of Area Control mode for the Open Beta. Each mode will offer different challenges and gameplay dynamics, allowing players to test various strategies and fully immerse themselves in the Concord universe.
