TheEuropean TEKKEN Cup is back in force for a third edition, with a clear objective: to crown the new European king of TEKKEN! The tournament, organized by Bandai Namco Europe, will take place on TEKKEN 8, the latest opus in the famous fighting game franchise. The competition will run from October 2024 to February 2025, starting in the Netherlands with the TEKKEN National Championship, the starting point for a series of confrontations.
With the arrival of TEKKEN 8, theEuropean TEKKEN Cup expands and becomes even more international. Players will compete in nine distinct regions, including France, the UK, Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg),Italy and Malta,Iberica (Spain and Portugal), Nordic (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland), D.A.C.H. (Germany, Switzerland and Austria), Poland and Greece. The aim is simple: to accumulate as many points as possible in the major and DOJO events, so as to be among the top two in your region and secure your ticket to the European Grand Final. The rules are strict and in line with those of the TEKKEN World Tour.
New this year, a Last Chance Tournament will be organized to select the final participants at Gamescom. This is a golden opportunity for gamers who didn't manage to qualify directly, to make it to the top and try to win the coveted title.
