Crack the Egg, an escape game located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, invites you to discover one of its rooms, L'Inquiétant Dr. Tychsen. A plunge into 1920s Berlin, in the office of an archaeologist linked to the disappearance of one of your friends.

Now that's an unusual scenario, even for an escape game... Crack the Egg invites you to discover one of its rooms, L'Inquiétant Dr. Tychsen, for an unprecedented plunge into 1920s Berlin. Yes, playing an escape game in Berlin in the 1920s is quite curious, both historically and in terms of the room's approach to history. You'll have to investigate the office of an archaeologist, Dr. Tychsen, in search of a missing friend. What's the connection between them? It's up to you to find out.

Synopsis of Crack the Egg's L'Inquiétant Dr. Tychsen escape game:

"For a week now, Hans Drummer, your classmate and friend, has been missing. Your suspicions fall on your archaeology teacher, Gerhardt Tychsen, whose behavior has changed. Today, he's giving a lecture: the perfect opportunity to break into his office and find out more. You only have an hour before he returns. Will you be able to find your friend?

Our review of L'Inquiétant Dr. Tychsen at Crack the Egg:

A room we tested some time ago. In terms of immersion, we're definitely there, and the archaeologist's office, very much in the German style of the 20s, helps a lot, even if we would have liked a few "frivolities" to make us dream a little more (ok, it's not Indiana Jones, but still...).

As for the mechanics, we had a bit of trouble with one of them, which held us up for quite a while. But don't think that the puzzles are insurmountable, far from it: they're not easy, of course, but they're challenging enough for us to rise to the challenge without getting bored. Some of the mechanisms didn't seem to run very smoothly to us, but that's a snapshot in time. It's up to you to make up your own mind by testing.

It's an adventure we didn't finish, but we'll take our revenge for that. Still, it's worth the detour if you like a challenge!
