Silent Hill 2 Remake finally available on PS5! After a final trailer unveiled on October 7, 2024, Konami is finally giving you your hands on Silent Hill 2, a remake of the game released in 2001, focusing here on the plot of the original, and available on October 8. A game that created a surprise in October 2022, with a first trailer unveiled at the Game Awards.
"Investigating a letter from his late wife, James returns to Silent Hill, the place where they have so many memories. What he discovers is a ghost town, haunted by ominous monsters and shrouded in thick fog. Face the monsters, solve puzzles and search for traces of your wife".
The game will be released exclusively on PS5, at least temporarily, as it is also planned for PC via Steam, one year after the console release. As the first trailer, unveiled in 2022, makes clear, the game will run on Unreal Engine 5, with no loading, as the visual quality of the trailer clearly shows.
The remake will follow the adventures of James Sunderland, who, after receiving a letter from his late wife - even though she died three years before receiving the letter - travels to Silent Hill on his instructions. A journey to the very edge of horror, and its destructive psychology, which should revive many memories for fans. In short, we can't wait to get our hands on it. And in the meantime, we're taking the opportunity to dive back into the saga's various installments... To your joysticks!
