At a PlayStation State of Play event on September 24, 2024, Final Fantasy daddy Hironobu Sakaguchi unveiled a new trailer for the game, complete with release date. Originally an Apple Arcade exclusive, this JRPG developed by Mistwalker plunges players into a universe where history and turn-based combat are intertwined.
What sets FANTASIAN: Neo Dimension apart from its peers are its environments, meticulously created as physical dioramas before being digitized. This approach offers an interesting visual immersion, where every scene seems to come out of a miniature fairy tale. Players will also have to master innovative combat mechanisms, including the ability to manage random encounters by storing them for one-off confrontation, which enhances the pace of exploration.
Fantasian 's soundtrack is another major asset, with compositions by Nobuo Uematsu, the legendary composer of Final Fantasy. The game also benefits from a number of visual enhancements for its release on the new platforms. In addition, FANTASIAN: Neo Dimension will include both parts of the original game, a new difficulty option, and English and Japanese dubbing.
