Attention trendy address addicts - Dover Street Market has finally landed in Paris, setting up shop in the heart of the Marais district on May 24, 2024. After London, New York and Tokyo, the ultra-stylish concept store has set up shop at 35-37, rue des Francs-Bourgeois.
Before that, the address housed 3537, a hip, cultural lifestyle spot, ultra-popular for its artistic events and unique ambience. Now, the iconic spot is reborn under the banner of Dover Street Market, ready to satisfy all your fashion and arty obsessions.
The program? 1100 m2 dedicated to the latest trends and art in the heart of the emblematic Hôtel de Coulanges, built between 1627 and 1634 and once occupied by Madame de Sévigné, an icon of 17th-century French literature. Spanning three levels, this temple to fashion will sweep you off your feet with pieces by Comme des Garçons, Simone Rocha, Margiela, Prada, Miu Miu, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Marine Serre, Sacai, Jacquemus and many more. More of a sneaker addict? Expect to fall for pairs of Nike, Adidas, Salomon and Converse, to name but a few.
But that's not all! The other two basements and the courtyard of this sublime townhouse host artistic, literary, musical and cultural events. Special mention must be made of thepermanent exhibition "Comme des Garçons for and by Paolo Reversi", presented in the B2 area and totally free of charge!
And for a gourmet break, head for the Rose Bakery café, a cosy space designed by Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, founder of Comme des Garçons and the concept store.
