Surrounded by close friends and family and a number of personalities from the fashion world, Simon Porte Jacquemus took the opportunity to make a vibrant appeal for young creation, underlining the importance of nurturing and encouraging emerging talent in the fashion industry. In attendance were her husband Marco Maestri, her grandmother, Laetitia Casta, Jeanne Damas and Delphine Arnault of the LVMH group, who has been eyeing a takeover of the House since its inception.

This distinction, initially awarded by the French Ministry of Culture during Covid's epidemic in 2021, testifies to Jacquemus' exceptional career. Anna Wintour herself hailed his talent and determination, praising his atypical path that led him to such early recognition. "It's remarkable to see such a talented and determined young man follow such a personal path to such early recognition," the fashion papessa told AFP, as reported by BFM TV.
