To mark the tenth anniversary ofEvok Collection, Nolinski Paris is launching its very first Prix de la Mode in collaboration with the Atelier Chardon Savard school. And surprise! You are warmly invited to vote for your favorite couture creation at a fashion exhibition open to the public, from March 16 to 24, 2024, in the hotel's elegant salons.
Through this competition, the luxury hotel group aims to encourage the next generation of young designers and highlight promising talent. Starting with a simple white sheet supplied by Garnier-Thiebaut for Nolinski Paris, students fromAtelier Chardon Savard are challenged to reveal their creative genius by designing a complete outfit. From a cohort of sixty aspirants who submitted their sketches in response to the call for entries for this new competition, only fifteen were selected to bring their visions to life. To this end, the Nolinski has awarded them an endowment including Garnier-Thiebaut's 300x320 cm white cotton sheet, as well as a cheque for €50, a helping hand towards the purchase of the necessary supplies.
The fashion creations will then be exhibited from March 15, 2024 at 4pm at Nolinski Paris, while the voting period will be open to the public from March 16 to 24, 2024. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorite by using a QR code, which will also reveal valuable information about the work and its creator. The jury deliberation and prize-giving ceremony will take place on March 25, 2024.
The jury for the first Prix Nolinski de la Mode 2024 is made up of a team of experts from various fields of the fashion industry. Their mission? Evaluate each creation and the workmanship of the drapery, then award the first prize. These distinguished judges include journalists such as Laurence Benaim and Julie Dessagne, and even designers who walk the catwalk at Paris Fashion Weeks, such as Barbara Bui, Véronique Leroy and Victoria/Thomas.
The winner of the Prix Nolinski de la Mode will receive an award including a check for €3,000 and other benefits valid at Brach Paris and Nolinski Paris.
