On World Toilet Day, November 19, we're on a mission: to provide access to toilets for all!
TheURGENT RUN PARIS by WC LOC is a solidarity run to fund sanitation programs around the world, which is why 80% of the proceeds are donated to the associations Vision du Monde, WTO and Rotary International. Over the past 8 years, many projects have come to fruition: in 2016, the construction of two sanitary blocks for the WTO in a village in Indonesia, in 2018, the construction of sanitary blocks for the Zazakely Sambatra association in Madagascar, and in 2022, the construction of latrines for the ONG Itodju association in Benin, to name but a few.
This cause doesn't affect us directly, but it does affect 1 in 3 people worldwide, not to mention the 2.8 billion people who consume water contaminated by faecal matter.
