Soccer fans are smiling. And for good reason, this year France is hosting the eighth edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup. To be experienced from June 7 to July 7, 2019 in nine host cities in France (Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris, Reims, Rennes and Valenciennes), the competition promises to be beautiful and sporty with a total of 52 scheduled matches, 24 nations competing and 552 players on the fields.

" This event, which contributes to the attractiveness of our capital, is part of the proactive policy implemented by the City in terms of sports: a policy that intends to make sport a vector of inclusion and a tool for emancipation for all women," thus declared the Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo.
In Paris, 7 matches are scheduled at the Parc des Princes including the opening match on June 7, 2019, between France and the Republic of Korea.
While all the matches will be broadcast free-to-air on Canal+ and TF1, the City of Paris wanted to make this sporting event a warm and friendly moment to be experienced in the FIFA Fan Experience Village, located at the Forum des Halles, on the Parvis and in the Nelson Mandela Garden.
The Village will be open every day of the competition, from 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and will broadcast all of the matches. It will also be a " place to live, to gather and to have fun, with the capacity to welcome up to 10,000 fans simultaneously, free of charge ".

The Canopy
For the occasion, the Forum des Halles will be transformed into an ephemeral stadium with many fun, cultural and sports activities. Discover a 5-on-5 soccer practice area, hip-hop, cecifoot, writing workshops, freestyle demonstrations or an e-sport tournament...
The square in front of the kiosk
Spectators will find themselves near the make-up stands. This is where they will find all the information about the competition and the program of the animations of the Village.
Nelson Mandela Garden
Settled on furniture made of recycled pallets, Parisians and tourists will be able to enjoy the broadcasting of the matches in a friendly atmosphere. A catering area, open from 12pm, will also be available with of course reminder screens on the terraces so that you don't miss anything. Other activities will also be available on the playground area (open from 2pm to 8pm) such as table soccer, foot-pong, and other sports activities.
