La Sans Raison: a solidarity race in Vélizy to support medical research (78)

A growing number of solidarity races are taking place in the Paris region, in support of important associations. In Vélizy, in the Yvelines department, La Sans Raison race takes place on Sunday November 24, 2024, in aid of the Laurette Fugain association, which fights leukemia. Three events of varying difficulty are on offer, to enable everyone to take part, whether or not they're sporty, and even children will be in on the action thanks to two mini-runs!

The money raised will once again go to this famous association, which fights to inform and raise public awareness of platelet, blood and bone marrow donation. Thanks to this race, it can support research into blood diseases and help patients and their families. With friends, family or on your own, do a good deed by running in the beautiful woods around Vélizy. For children, introductory courses of 1200 and 2100m are available, for ages 8-11, to discover sport and nature at the same time!

The different races :

• La Balèze: this demanding 30-kilometer course for experienced runners takes in the forest trails of the communes of Vélizy, Chaville, Meudon and Clamart.
• La Thérèse: this 19-kilometer route, of intermediate difficulty, takes in the undulating trails and peaceful lakes of the Meudon state forest.
• La Laise: an 11-kilometre course designed for novices who want to test themselves on a first trail in discovery mode.
• 2 mini-runs for children
