Want to become an Olympic athlete for a day? Head to the Beaugrenelle Paris shopping center to try out the three additional Olympic sports: breaking, climbing and skateboarding, thanks to exceptional initiations supervised by professional athletes, some of whom are in the running for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games! From June 16 to July 9, 2023, a work by artist Arnaud Liard will also hang in the heart of the Atrium, depicting a colorful meteorite in the shape of a skateboard ramp.
On the program: a 3m-high climbing wall where visitors can practice and try to win challenges, initiations, sporting challenges and performances by top athletes such as Alexis Landot, Solenne Piret and the LO Crew. Entire days will be dedicated to each of the three sports, so you can enjoy them for longer: sport climbing on June 17, 18 and 24, breaking on June 21 and 25, and skateboarding on July 1 and 2!
And for a good deed, every time the buzzer at the top of the climbing wall is activated, 1 euro will be donated to the SKIN association, which helps men and women affected by cancer to rebuild their lives through art and sport. Every Thursday and Friday, supervisors will be on hand to introduce visitors to climbing in complete safety, on level -1 of Beaugrenelle.
