With Maria Ribeiro Tavares, you'll discover the world of pole vaulting, and the Stade du Moulin-Neuf, where the athlete discovered the sport. It's an emotional journey that will immerse you in her career and her story. In 1997, it was with the Dynamic Aulnay Club that the young girl was introduced to pole vaulting and trained with her sisters. French champion in 2011, qualified for the London and Rio Olympics, Maria will share with you the highlights of her career, talk about her profession, her failures and her victories, and give you her techniques for achieving your goals. And for those of you who're a bit curious, we'll even introduce you to pole vaulting!
Thanks to this scheme, you can also meet para-athlete Alexandra Nouchet, who has a dual sporting background. Born with a congenital anomaly, she was a top-level swimmer for twelve years, qualifying for the Rio Games, before eventually switching to athletics. Alexandra will give you an intimate insight into her daily life, training and activity, and her dream of competing in the Paris Paralympics. You can also enjoy an introduction to wheelchair racing!
