With the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France, there's no doubt that new players will be flocking to the club next year! And rugby isn't just for boys: women also have their own national team, with an impressive track record. Lenaïg Corson, a former international XV and 7-a-side rugby player, wants to pass on her passion for rugby and introduce young girls aged 13 to 16 to the sport, through discovery days and training courses in Essonne.
For the first time in France, this 100% women's rugby "school" is offering courses for beginners and experienced players alike, with rugby on the program, of course, but also healthy eating, cookery, English lessons, self-expression and communication workshops, environmental awareness, yoga and even wheelchair rugby, at the Stade de Rugby in Orsay.
In the midst of the World Cup, the first discovery day is offered on September 20, 2023, from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm, for 80 euros a day. For a more complete half-board course, you'll have to wait until the All Saints' vacation, from October 30 to November 3, 2023, for 400 euros a week. Find out if you'd like to make a career out of it, or get involved in a club and perhaps become the next rugbywomen!
