Rugby World Cup: a rugby village sets up in Saint-Denis, near the Stade de France

The Rugby World Cup 2023 is about to get underway, kicking off on September 8! For the occasion, France and the Ile-de-France region will be buzzing with the excitement of the oval ball, in stadiums and rugby villages set up all over the city, notably at La Concorde and Saint-Denis. Close to the Stade de France, those who weren't lucky enough to obtain precious tickets will be able to console themselves duringfestive days, until October 28, on the Place Victor-Hugo.

This "village de l'ovalie" will host broadcasts of matches played at the Stade de France, as well as those of the French national team, plus sporting and cultural events, concerts and a rugby market! From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on each match day, you'll be able to try your hand at rugby darts, discover eSport and try your hand at the scrum, all under the supervision of the city's sports educators. On October 20 and 21, 2023, come and discover the Webb Ellis Cup, the trophy that will be awarded to the winning team of the Rugby World Cup 2023. Two stages will be set up for you to enjoy concerts, DJ sets, dancing and plenty of other surprises, not forgetting the rugby market, which will showcase French local produce at tastings, to demonstrate the know-how of our regions.
