The Rugby World Cup 2023 got off to a flying start for the French national team, with an exceptional home victory over the formidable All Blacks at the Stade de France! Good news for the start of the competition, as France temporarily take the lead in their group, ahead of the next three matches, against Namibia, Italy and Uruguay, Les Bleus' next match, this Thursday, September 14, 2023.
On paper, the match against New Zealand was the most difficult for the French to win. While the match against Uruguay is not particularly threatening, they will still have to be wary, as Pool A is not the least challenging, with the presence of Italy. This time, Lille and the Stade Pierre Mauroy will be the venue for the match, scheduled for 9pm, again on TF1, which broadcasts all matches involving the French national team.
The South Americans have won two of their warm-up matches, notably against Namibia, whom they will face again in the group phase. A win is more than welcome to secure top spot in the group, and already look forward to the quarter-finals, back at the mythical Saint-Denis stadium!
