To honor the 20 nations competing in the 2023 Rugby World Cup, SNCF stations are decked out in the colors of rugby, with colorful exhibitions and cultural trails. These are all ways of welcoming the players, staff and fans who will be traveling around the country by train, as the All Blacks did for the opening match. In Paris and the Île-de-France region, you'll be able to admire numerous photographs at the Gare de Versailles-Chantiers, Montparnasse, Austerlitz, Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon!
These XXL station displays will represent each nation, giving you a panorama of their identity, from remarkable sites to gastronomy, history, the national rugby team and sporting culture, in words and images. Entitled "La plus belle mêlée des peuples" ("The most beautiful scrum of the peoples"), this major exhibition in the heart of the stations has been designed to coincide with the travels of the teams and their base camps, like Wales in Versailles!
Like the pianos, these displays are designed to create shared moments between travelers, whether simply curious or fans, through the values of welcome and hospitality.
