Crossing France diagonally from southwest to northeast, the Scandibérique passes through some twenty French départements, four regions and numerous cities, including Bordeaux, Paris, Orléans, Tours... The Scandibérique is France's longest cycle route, with a total of 1,700 kilometers to pedal: but don't worry, you can do just a few sections, as it also crosses the Île-de-France region, from Montargis to Bobigny, via Fontainebleau, Corbeil-Essonnes, Paris, Créteil and more.
After the Véloscénie, which allows you to cycle from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel in just one week, discover the Scandibérique! Divided into 48 stages ranging from 16 to 50 kilometers, this is your chance to explore France and the Paris region as you've never seen it before: on two wheels, taking in the scenery, historic monuments and castles!
In the Île-de-France region, the stages will take you through Bondy and Paris, along the Canal de l'Ourcq and past the Bassin de la Villette, past the town of Melun in Seine-et-Marne, along the banks of the Seine to the magnificent Château de Fontainebleau.... But also, discover the little-known Canal du Loing and its bucolic banks, the town of Nemours and finally, reach Bagneaux-sur-Loing before leaving the region and heading back to Montargis! Of course, you can continue your journey through the Loire Valley until you reach the Basque coast, where the Scandiberique ends in France.
