This private mansion in the Marais district once belonged to the Duc de Sully, a contemporary of d'Artagnan, one of the Musketeers. He bought the property on February 23, 1634, and it subsequently became the property of his grandson, the second Duc de Sully, on the death of his second wife. Since 1974, the Hôtel de Sully has been the headquarters of the Centre des monuments nationaux.
