The European Sports Festival, which takes place during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, is an opportunity to try out some twenty traditional sports that are rarely seen, in the Vincennes fan zone!

During the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, you'll have the opportunity to try out numerous sports, both Olympic and non-Olympic, in spots created just for the occasion! For the occasion, the Festival Européen du Sport is taking up residence in the Château de Vincennes fan zone, from July 31 to August 9, 2024, to introduce you to some twenty unusual sports, from all over the European continent, traditionally practiced in their own countries!

Organized by INSEP and UFOLEP, and funded by Erasmus +, the project aims to take advantage of the excitement surrounding the Games to promote the culture, values and advantages of the European Union through sport, by presenting games and sports from 10 countries, as well as stands and workshops open to all, free of charge, from 12pm to 6pm on weekdays, and from 9am to 6pm on weekends. Ready to take a trip to Bulgaria, Austria, Finland or Portugal?

There's also an educational exhibition where you can find out more about these sometimes surprising traditions, whose names probably mean nothing to you!
