A free fan zone within the Château de Vincennes to enjoy the Paris 2024 Olympic Games? That's what awaits us from the evening of July 26 to August 11, 2024. Retransmission, food but also sports and exceptional visits are on the program.

This summer, while Paris is ablaze with Olympic spirit, the Château de Vincennes will become The place to be in Val-de-Marne to enjoy and share the joys of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games without leaving the capital. From July 26 to August 11, 2024, this historic monument, a symbol of France's royal history, will be transformed into a free fan zone, accessible to all, and promises to become a must-see venue for sports and culture fans.

The event will take place in the château's large square courtyard, where a giant screen will broadcast the competitions, allowing everyone to plunge right into the heart of the action. But the experience doesn't stop there. The organizers have imagined a space where sport and heritage meet, creating a unique setting for this sporting celebration.

The Cour d'Honneur will be transformed into a convivial space, with seating such as armchairs and poufs to welcome visitors from midday, extending the invitation well into the evening, and even from early morning on weekends. This initiative is part of a drive to make the Olympic Games accessible to all, by offering a comfortable, family-friendly setting in which to follow the events.

The fan zone is not limited to simply broadcasting the competitions. Another part of the château will invite visitors to try their hand at various Olympic disciplines. Fromclimbing to table tennis, volleyball and basketball, not forgetting a surfing facility, the program is designed to ensure that everyone finds something to their liking. Thanks to close collaboration with Insep and Ufolep, these introductory sports courses also provide an opportunity to discover traditional European sports.

The cultural dimension is also at the heart of this fan zone, with the exceptional opening of the donjon and the Sainte-Chapelle to visitors. This initiative underlines the desire to closely link sport and culture, offering a complete and enriching experience.

On the catering side, the emphasis is on local produce, with cheese dairies, wine merchants and delicatessens all on hand to testify to the region's gastronomic wealth. This choice is in line with our commitment to promoting local products and supporting local producers.

By transforming the Château de Vincennes into a fan zone for the Paris 2024 Olympics, the organizers are offering a new perspective on how to experience the Games. Combining sport, history and gastronomy, this event promises to be a highlight of this Olympic summer, anchoring the Games in the heart of eastern Paris and offering a unique space for meeting and sharing.
