For a weekend with a difference, don your best swimsuit and get ready to paddle your way along the Seine for two days. After developing a highly popular hitchhiking race concept, the Mad Jacques is offering a paddle race for the first time this summer, to combine water sports with a fiesta during a weekend rich in encounters, as the concept demands.
On Saturday, it's off toÎle Limay, in the village of the same name in the Yvelines department: it's here that, on August 31, 2024, participants will set off on their paddleboards, with the aim of having fun above all else. On the program for the first leg: over 12 kilometers of paddling, with spontaneous swimming and picnic breaks. Once they've arrived, it's time to celebrate - as Mad Jacques would have it - with entertainment and concerts until 2 a.m., and a night's camping to celebrate. Bivouacs, guinguettes, yoga and foodtrucks are the order of the evening. The next day, it's the same old story, with a host of water-based activities: paddle, frizbee, jousting, water pyramids and other local events await sports enthusiasts for an afternoon in theguinguette spirit.
In short, to take part in this weekend of crazy adventures combining sport, aquatic leisure activities and great encounters, meet us from August 31st to September 1st 2024 on Limay Island, for this Mad Jacques paddle. You'll pay €89 per person for these two days of madness, knowing that the ticket includes all activities and supervision, Sunday entertainment, Sunday breakfast and Saturday lunch (picnic). If you don't have your own paddle or tent, Mad Jacques also offers the possibility of renting them for the weekend: paddle rental costs €50 for two days, and a two-seater tent with groundsheet costs €39. So, are you ready for the big adventure?
