We don't always know what they're for, but they're an integral part of the Parisian landscape. I'm talking, of course, about the many kiosks that sit proudly on the lawns of Paris's parks, squares and gardens.

We Love Green 2019: Back Market offers a stand with a 100% refurbished program
The weekend of Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16, 2019 marks the return of the "Kiosque en musique" Festival. The mission of this musical event open to all? To return these venues to their original vocation and make them part of the life of the neighborhoods and residents, with the participation of groups from the local conservatories.
To mark the occasion, dozens of orchestras will take over these lovely buildings, offering Parisians a host of free concerts over two days.
Under the impetus of the Paris Music association, in partnership with the Confédération Musicale de France and Orchestre à l'Ecole, more than 600 amateur musicians aged 7 to 77 will perform in these famous bandstands, playing in harmonies, fanfares, vocal ensembles, brass bands and other groups.
The program? Eclectic repertoires combining classical and contemporary music, as well as jazz and world music...
Stay tuned for the detailed program of the 2019 Kiosque à Musique festival, including the orchestras scheduled and the venues where you can enjoy this festive event with family and friends.
